WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE WORKOUT MUSIC?

I don't know about you but I love music. I'll listen to nearly every genre and decade of music with the only exception of classical music. When you think about it, music plays such an important part of our lives! I can remember the songs from my very first slow dances in middle school (and the boys too! lol), I can't help but remember the music and parties from college and, of course, the music from our wedding reception. And as a parent I'm surrounded by the music of the Wiggles and nursery rhymes.

Individual choices of workout music is very interesting. It intrigues me to know what songs motivate and energize people as they prepare for the big game, endure grueling workouts and even relax after strenuous exercise.

I realize that my list of exercise and motivation songs will vary over time yet here are some of the songs I enjoy right now:

Round and Round by Ratt (reminds me of circuit training!)
Fighter by Christina Aguilera
Somebody Told Me by The Killers
Man in the Box by Alice in Chains (although the lyrics are rather scary!)
Makes Me Wonder by Maroon 5
Miss Independent by Kelly Clarkson
Beautiful Day by U2
Spoonman by Soundgarden
Bring Me To Life by Evanescence
I Was Wrong by Social Distortion
and...any type of upbeat music by Madonna

What are your favorite songs that help motivate and encourage you through your workouts??
