Before a flower can blossom in the sunlight, it must first grow through dark soil. Before a butterfly can dance throught the air, it must first evolve within a dark cocoon. If it seems that I am being held back from achieving some goal, I realize that this is an opportunity of growth for me. Like the flower and the butterfly, I, too, emerge strong and free. Having left behind any belief that could limit or restrict me, I have been transformed. I understand that I have freedom from being who I was in the past and the freedom to be who I am now.
